Dr. Yoonah Danskin | Periodontist

Dr. Yoonah Danskin specializes in Periodontics and Implant Surgery in Midtown Manhattan and the Upper East Side. She is a board certified periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She aims to create a stable foundation for a beautiful and healthy smile and believes in personalized treatment plans that are tailored to individual needs. Her team takes great pride in delivering quality care.

She practices all aspects of periodontal therapy including treatment of periodontal disease, laser therapy, precise implant placement, extraction, and bone regeneration. She performs aesthetic procedures including treatment of recession, gummy smiles, and full mouth rehabilitation. She also specializes in dental management of oncology patients.

Dr. Danskin was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in New York City. She attended Bronx High School of Science and received her Bachelor’s in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA and completed a General Practice Residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital. She also completed a Dental Oncology Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

She completed a Residency in Periodontology and Surgical Implantology at the New York branch of the Veteran Affairs Hospital in concert with New York University. She graduated with the Dennis Tarnow Clinical Excellence Award and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Case Report Award. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Periodontology.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her son and husband.
